Is it safe to gargle in Hydrogen Peroxide, if your teeth are less than perfect?

It depends on the percentage.

20% is used to bleech hair and strip color out of a hair folicle.

And could be poision if you used it for a mouth wash.

Reply:i would say its fine but you might want to ask your dentist just in case
Reply:No, hydrogen peroxide is poisonous. You should use a whitener strip or speak to your dentist.
Reply:It is safe, It taste nasty but is okay. The dentist reccomended this for my mother who is a diabetic, to help with her teeth..
Reply:yes it is
Reply:My dentist used it after scaling and polishing when your gums bleed alittle. She only used a cotton ball soaked with the solution and clean the gums area. Personal view is try not to use it too often as I soaked a tooth in Hydrogen Peroxide before, the tooth turn paper white after 1 day. Not sure if it%26#039;s too strong?
Reply:You%26#039;re supposed to dilute it with water.
Reply:r u kidding?!is that y your name is b...... woman?
Reply:Some literature suggests hydrogen peroxide used frequently may be carcinogenic to oral tissues ,so for frequent use try diluted salt water with a little baking soda in it ,or a commercial mothwash
